Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

Daylight Irvine Sunrooms & Patios, irvinesunroomsandpatios.com, team@irvinesunroomsandpatios.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Daylight Irvine Sunrooms & Patios website and any estimate, quote or service you request from us through it. By using the site or asking us to come out, you agree to them, so please read them before you get in touch.

Each sunroom, patio cover or enclosure job also gets its own written contract. If that contract and these terms ever disagree, the signed contract controls for that job.

What we do

We're a sunroom contractor in Irvine, CA. We design and build sunroom additions, three and four season rooms, screen rooms, patio enclosures, patio covers, solariums and conversions of existing patios and decks, and we remodel sunrooms that are already in place. You can see the full list on our home page and read more about our crew on our about page.

The descriptions, photos and examples on this site are general information about the kinds of work we do. They aren't a promise that a particular design, product or finish will suit your house. We settle that during your estimate and put it in your contract.

Estimates and pricing

Estimates are free and take place at your property, and there's no pressure to book. Your price depends on things we can only judge in person, such as the size of the room, the materials and glass you choose, the condition of your slab, deck or roofline, and what your city requires for the permit.

An estimate is our best figure based on what we can see on the day. Your price becomes final only when it's written into a signed contract. If we open up the work and find something nobody could have seen beforehand, such as rot, a cracked footing or damaged framing, we'll stop, show you, and agree on a written change before we go any further.

Any price you see on this site is general information and not an offer.

Scheduling, delays and cancellation

We schedule work once your contract is signed and any permit the job needs is in hand. Start and finish dates are estimates, because permit review, inspections, material deliveries and weather can move them.

We won't be responsible for delays caused by things outside our control, but we'll tell you as soon as we know about one and give you a new date.

If you need to move an appointment or an estimate visit, call us or use the contact page as early as you can so we can give that time to another homeowner. California law may give you a right to cancel a home improvement contract after you sign it, and your written contract will explain those rights and how to use them. Once that period has passed, cancellation is handled under the terms of your contract, including payment for work already done and materials already ordered for your job.

Payment

Your contract sets out how much you'll pay and when, tied to stages of the work so you're paying for progress you can see. Any deposit we ask for will be no more than California law allows.

Final payment is due when the work in your contract is complete. If a payment is late, we may pause the work until it's settled, and the contract may allow late charges and collection costs as permitted by law.

Warranties and what they don't cover

Any warranty on our workmanship is the one written into your contract, and only that one. Products such as glass, framing systems, roofing panels and screens usually carry their own warranty from the maker, and we'll pass those along to you.

Warranties don't cover damage from misuse, from changes or repairs made by someone else, from skipping the care the maker calls for, from settling or movement of ground or structures we didn't build, or from storms, earthquakes and other events outside our control.

The information on this website is provided as is. We try to keep it accurate, but we don't warrant that it's complete, current or free of errors, and we make no other warranties, stated or implied, beyond those in your contract, to the extent the law allows.

Limits on our liability

We're licensed and fully insured, and we stand behind the work in your contract. To the extent the law allows, Daylight Irvine Sunrooms & Patios isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost use of a room or lost income, that come from using this site or from our services.

Our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job, unless the law requires otherwise. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that California law says can't be waived.

Settling a disagreement

If something isn't right, call us at (949) 543-1630 or write to us through the contact page first. Most problems are solved by walking the job together, and we'll try in good faith to fix the problem directly with you.

If we can't settle it that way, either of us may take the dispute to the method your contract names, or to a court with authority over it. Any claim must be brought in the county where the work was done, unless your contract or the law says otherwise.

California law applies

These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to rules that would apply another state's law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one that applies when you use the site. Changes won't alter a contract you've already signed, because that job stays under the terms you agreed to.

How to reach us
